At 212 West 72nd Street, WTS was brought in during the final phases of construction to support the punchlisting process and deliver flawless finishes throughout this luxury condominium conversion. Rising 19 stories and reimagined by CetraRuddy, the building transformed a modernist rental into 106 bespoke residences ranging from one- to five-bedrooms. With wide white oak plank floors, custom millwork, expansive glass, and richly textured stone, the residences were designed to balance contemporary luxury with Upper West Side character.

Our team worked closely with the developer to address the common damages that arise in the final stages of a project of this scale. We performed detailed wood floor touchups to repair scratches and abrasions, restored chips and damages on custom millwork and cabinetry, and executed precise wall and surface touchups across residences, corridors, and amenity spaces.

WTS also managed a wide range of surface refinements, including repairing metal hardware, fixtures, and accents, along with restoring stainless steel appliances that had sustained minor installation damage. Equally important was our stone repair and polishing program, which ensured countertops, bathroom surrounds, flooring, and feature walls reflected the quality expected in a high-end development. In addition, our technicians refinished window mullions and frames, removing scratches and delivering a consistent finish throughout the building.

By meticulously executing these punchlisting and touchup tasks, WTS elevated 212 West 72nd Street to the level envisioned by its architects and designers.
